 The Coeur d’Alene Public Library Foundation (CdAPLF) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that exists to raise private financial support to help the Library remain responsive to the needs of our community. In these economic times, public funding alone is not sufficient to meet the growing demand for facilities, programs and services. The CdAPLF servesas a catalyst to attract private support from individuals, businesses, organizations and foundations to enhance libraryresources.
In addition, the CdAPLF maintains and operates several of its own programs to increase basic computer literacy
in adults ( ReTool Box), provide free movies to the public (Fabulous Flix), and encourage children’s literacy through the Mudgy and Millie book and Trail.
The Coeur d’Alene Library Foundation strives to enhance the community’s appreciation and utilization of the
Library as a vibrant cultural and educational center for life-long learning. |
